Recently, Century Healthcare's application for adding negative dgree to hydrophilic non-spherical introcular lenses has been approved by the NMPA. The range of optical dgree has been changed from the original "+5.0D to+30.0D, with an optical dgree interval of 0.5D" to "-10.0D to+30.0D, with an optical power interval of 0.5D". Negative dgree introcular lenses will provide more accurate vision correction options for special cataract populations such as ultra-high myopia.
